The Watchers

Ruined a good series by never letting the poor guy win
For seasons one and two Nick Fallon tread a slow path to redemption from a life scarred by the death of his mother, the soft abandonment of his father (boarding schools), the loss of his suburban childhood, and the velvet handcuffs of wealth. Starting with a guy scared straight after getting busted with coke, Nick slowly comes to understand his humanity through his work at Legal Services of Pittsburgh with really unfortunate people. This is a guy who never gets upset though everyone around him, including the mean progressives at LSP, the partners at his firm, and even his girlfriend pretty much insult him all the time. By the end of the second season, you can see this kid making amends left and right, saving the down-trodden, working two jobs at once, wooing an unhappy beautiful woman, and making his AA meetings.

Apparently that is just not enough for Hollywood. Season three is all about destroying Nick. We're not talking a little back slide here and there, we are...

Guardian Season 3
I have been watching this on Amazon. I did not know of this show when it was on TV and just discovered it online. I have enjoyed this series tremendously. Have looked forward to every program.

Lame
the first two seasons were much better it was ok but, if I would have known it was going to end the way it did I probably would not have watched it.
