Pure And Simple, Volume Two

DISAPPOINTED
Disappointed. I was expecting more along the lines of " the Gaither Band Reunited" or "Gaither Vocal Band Reunited" Vol. #1 and #2..And, I would appreciate them not singing the same song over and over and over. I know thats a filler for him but come on, it would just be another song or two.

Since David Phelps and Mark Lowery are back with the group anything they do is great by me and this dvd supports that statement. The group seems to be having a ball during this taping and you have fun watching them. Not the usual Vocal Band music tho, it's more earthy and a nice switch. I just hope they don't go too far off the usual Gaither arrangements and stick to this format.

FABULOUS MUSIC!
This is another fabulous DVD from the new Gaither Vocal Band. I love the sound of this group. The combination with David Phelps, Wes Hampton, Michael English, and Bill Gaither cannot be beat. David sings a new song he wrote called 'Fools Gold' and I love it! I keep playing it over and over. But then I have never heard him sing a bad one. His voice is not to be believed.

Wes sings a song called 'I will pray for you' and it will really touch your heart. The whole DVD is very entertaining. I also enjoyed the small outtakes when they were all in the van. The humor is great and they seem to really get along well. I do wish they would do more of these.

Anyone who gets this DVD along with Pure and Simple #1 will certainly have hours of beautiful entertainment and you will want to play them over and over. :)
