Didn't suck me in
I am surprised that I didn't get hooked on this show like I expected to. I purchased the first episode to try it out and see if I liked it, and the characters didn't hold my interest to keep watching. I much preferred Cheer to Cheer perfection.
Okay if you like mindless entertainment
Sometimes mindless entertainment is okay. If you are looking for a distraction, this show is fine. If you are looking for something with meaning, this isn't it. The cheer moms are inane and push their daughters to the limits while sitting around being bad role models. They are petty and lazy, or at least that is the way they like to portray themselves on TV. Women who sit around looking for reasons to get into fights with each other, call each other names, and just generally act boorish aren't good examples of what moms should be. But, that is probably what sells, unfortunately. Would anyone watch supportive moms who actually get along? Probably not. The best part of the show is watching the talented young cheerleaders perform. Cheering is tough sport and they make it look easy.
Just another crazy show about crazy moms.
I don't usually pay for these sorts of shows, but I can't help but be interested in crazy humans. :) Silly moms- you'll live longer if you stopped stressing so much!
