Toriko: Part 2



The world is in the Gourmet Age!!
This set contains episodes 14-26.

The first few episodes of this set conclude the search for the Regal Mammoth's Jewel Meat. From there, Toriko goes searching for BB Corn, and the search also begins for the Century Soup in Ice Hell.

I am fan of all of Shonen Jump's Manga (One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Beelzebub, etc.), and I feel that anyone who enjoys One Piece will also enjoy Toriko. Both series have similar themes, with Luffy looking for One Piece left behind by the legendary Gol D. Roger, and Toriko searching for GOD, the ingredient left behind by the legendary Gourmet Hunter Acacia.

The fights in Toriko are just as crazy as in One Piece. One of the highlights of this DVD set was Toriko's fight against Grinpatch (I liked that Grinpatch was voiced by the same person who played Mr. Satan in Funimation's Dragonball Z release).

There were a couple of flaws with this release:

Another good addtion to my anime collection funny and action packed a ties with one piece for me then it's just my opinion

Yeas.
I would say that its a great show, it has little filler but its noticeable if you are reading the manga. I am looking forward to the next parts of Toriko.
