Quite Good, But Not The Very Best Of
Picked up a copy at the local store, here's a summary of my thoughts, for the full review check out Tribalwrestling website.

Does the product live up to the hype of "The Very Best of"? The answer is : Almost but not quite. The filler matches prevent it from being a great release (4-5 stars level).

The Good

Best of WCW Nitro Volume 2 is better than volume 1. First off, there's no terrible stuff on the "Very Best of" this time around. There seem to be less effort to 'bury' the former rivals of WWE. So that's a good start.

Most of the content featured are good and memorable matches that features the main stars of WCW (Hogan, Goldberg, Sting, Macho Man, Nash, DDP) along with a couple of tag teams and cruiserweights.

Some of the fun matches to check out are : Sting vs DDP, Goldberg vs Raven, Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage, Rey Mysterio vs. Juventud Guerrera and Goldberg vs Sting. There are obviously some other good matches on the set...

Some Cool Stuff, But Not The Best
The sequel to 2011's Best Of Monday Nitro complilation DVD is a disapointment for WCW and wrestling fans in general. There were so many memorable matches on this program that got short thrift, obviously you cant fit everything onto the first collection but there is so much missing here it's disheartening. Much of what is here, match wise, while entertaining, isnt noteworthy.

Some Important Nitro Matches that should have been included...Hogan vs Giant (Feb 98) ... Giant's Initial World Title Win vs Ric Flair (April 96), Loser Leaves WCW Match between Giant vs Kevin Nash (Feb 99), Goldberg vs Flair (March 99), Flair's last World Title win vs Jeff Jarrett (May 2000), Ric Flair/Arn Anderson vs Rock & Roll Express (May 96), Brett Hart vs Lex Luger (99), didnt Goldberg face Sting for the WCW Title on Nitro ?

On the plus side, there are some entertaining if not as famous matches with Randy Savage and a short tribute. The side bars on WCW productions and Nitro parties,...
